Meet Dr Kate Beaven-Marks – Your Expert

The Taster Day is led by our Director of Studies and Principal Tutor, Dr Kate Beaven-Marks — a world-renowned expert in hypnosis and hypnotherapy. Her doctorate focused on teaching and learning hypnotherapy from a professionalism perspective.

 

 

Dr Kate’s decades of experience across therapeutic, academic, and training settings, includes having taught on and take on the role of lead examiner for the UK’s only Hypnotherapy Master’s Degree. She has written multiple books on many hypnosis-related topics, as is a highly sought-after speaker and mentor; known for her clear, fun, and practical teaching style.

Dr Kate’s deep expertise and passion for helping others succeed is at the heart of everything we do at HypnoTC. She is the lead trainer on all HypnoTC courses, supported by a fabulous team. Our Spectacular Venue

Our Learn Hypnotherapy Taster Day takes place at the elegant Royal Horseguards Hotel in London — a luxurious and inspiring space that sets the tone for a day of growth, connection, and learning. Our course is one of the strongest courses worldwide (according to our students) and we have students travel to us from all over the UK, Europe and, at times, even further afield.

Our venue is superbly located near mainline (Charing Cross, Waterloo, Victoria, Kings Cross, Paddington) and underground stations (closest is Embankment, Westminster and Temple are nearby). We are also a short journey from Victoria coach station. For those coming to us by air, travel is easy from all London airports, particularly Heathrow and London City. Eurostar at Paddington is also a convenient travel option.
