If I was to describe this course in one word, it would be ‘thorough’. Learning in a beautiful, spectacular location like the Royal Horseguards Hotel adds to the theatre of hypnosis and it was a pleasure to visit every time. The course notes back up everything learned in class, and more. I can see myself referring to them in years to come as a qualified hypnotherapist. Dr Kate, who runs the course, and those who are Classroom Support, are very different personalities that complement each other, resulting in an intense, informative, very high standard, fun learning environment.
The course materials and structure were very comprehensive. I felt they provide enough detail to make you feel fully prepared, to be competent and a comprehensive hyponotherapist at the end. The duration of the course, over the ten month period, allows you to fully embrance and integrate all the personal growth and experience that the course offers, so that you feel like the full package once you gain your certification.
I’ve loved my time on the course. There is a significant amount of content that makes you as prepared as you can be to become a hypnotherapist, confident in your level of skill. Kate and her Classroom Support have been very supportive and are so approachable if you have any questions. I’m so glad I made the decision to enrol!
The course materials are vast and accessible. Having videos online helps to reinforce the learning in class. It’s well-paced over 10 months, to fit in with your lifestyle. Expert demonstrations in person, with a chance to practice wih peers.
The best experience I have had in education. The information was delivered in such a dynamic and enjoyable way, it didn’t feel like learning. Dr Kate has so much experience and knowledge I really feel I have learned from the best!

The course is intensive and gives you enough knowledge and practicals that may have otherwise taken longer elsewhere. The whole structure and material was planned and organised exceptionally. There was a good blend of teaching and practicals, keeping us engaged throughout. What I really liked is the course was a mix of all approaches, variations and modalities, which made me feel more confident overall in my approach with clients. Kate knows her stuff really well and is able to answer questions until the student is comfortable – bearing in mind, I ask a lot of questions! Our Classroom Support’s friendly and humorous approach helped put us at ease and supported us. The homework helped integrate our classroom learning very well.

The course is an intense ten months that gathers pace throughout. However it is fully supported with tutor and video feedback. The class environment was enjoyable with all materials available.
A very thorough course, providing me with a great understanding of a wide range of different techniques and approaches. I loved the fact that the emphasis was on using our own words and metaphors rather than just reading from a script.
I loved the fact that the course notes were given to us beforehand. A very comprehensive course with the perfect mix of practical and theory. Be ready to work hard as there is a lot of homework and revision throughout the course, but it is really worth it. After completing the HypnoTC Diploma, I am now super confident to start my business. This course consisted of lots of theory and practicals. It was hands on and I could not have wished for a better course.

This was my second time doing the HypnoTC course; I loved it. It has been fun and challenging both times and I have learned and developed my skills and practice. The advice and guidance Kate gives on homework and your practice is beyond what you would expect from a course.
Kate and Rory are an amazing duo of brilliant, intelligent and holistically bound trainers and therapists. It was a superb experience which further enriched my learnings, skills and personal resources. This is probably the best training team in the field. I feel well qualified, more competent and I think I have learned more than I may even be aware of.
