This workshop is ideal for hypnotherapists who would like to include some rapid therapy approaches and EMDR techniques in their skillset.
We will be covering a range of approaches which employ EMDR, to address sport performance, anxiety, weight, phobias and wellbeing enhancement.
As this will be an intensive and highly practical workshop, participants will need to be familar with hypnotising (so no total novices, but students are fine). A rapid hypnotherapy induction will be taught on the day, so there is no need to already be trained in rapid hypnotherapy.
There is no need to already be trained in EMDR or Hypno-EMDR. The workshop will teach you what you need for the skills being taught.
However, if you are already trained, then these skills will complement your regular use of EMDR or H-EMDR within your hypnotherapy practice.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is commonly associated with the treatment of trauma. It is thought to enable individuals to access, process and resolve unpleasant memories and disturbing life experiences. The use of EMDR helps clients to identify and change negative beliefs, emotions and body sensations, relating to past and future situations. It also aids in the generation of positive beliefs and sensations. As such, EMDR is a highly beneficial addition to the professional toolkit.

This Rapid EMDR workshop uses EMDR skills, together with rapid hypnotherapy approaches, to work with speific issues, including sport performance, anxiety alleviation, weight issues, phobia alleviation, and wellbeing enhancement.

Eligibility: The course includes some hypnotherapy practical work. If you do not have hypnotherapy experience, please contact us before you book.
The majority of this Rapid EMDR Skills for Hypnotherapists is practical and you will be expected to participate, both giving and receiving. We will not be directly working on trauma in this workshop. However, if you feel that working on sport, anxiety, weight, phobias and wellbeing might trigger something, please get in contact before booking. During the workshop, you are able to use your own experiences (minor issues) if you choose, or role play.
