Liza is a certified hypnotherapist and yoga teacher specialising in workplace stress, burnout, chronic health challenges, and habit change for professionals. With 25+ years in the global media industry, she understands high-pressure environments and the personal cost of sustained performance.
Her practice integrates clinical hypnotherapy (including behavioural, cognitive, analytical, regression and Hypno-EMDR) with yoga, mindfulness and breathwork to address mindset and somatic wellbeing. Following her own life-changing health challenge in 2015, she developed particular expertise in helping clients navigate chronic illness while maintaining professional lives.
She is accredited by the National Guild of Hypnotists, HypnoTC and the Federation of Holistic Therapists, and practices online (UK-wide) and in-
person in London and East Anglia.
I decided to train in hypnotherapy when I was recovering from a life-changing health challenge in 2017. I knew instinctively that learning this skill would help me build resilience through my own recovery, while also giving me the foundation to make a meaningful career move from corporate life into the wellness industry. It felt like the right way to transform my experience into something that could genuinely help others navigate their own challenges with more ease and control.
Training in hypnotherapy deepened soft skills and emotional intelligence I’d begun developing through my corporate career, but it took them to an entirely different level. I learned to listen in a way that goes beneath the surface of what someone needs, not necessarily what they say. That capacity for deep listening, combined with an understanding of how people respond to stress and change, built my skills both as a people manager and as a therapist who can meet clients where they are.
My core specialisms include supporting professionals through workplace stress, to avoid burnout or manage chronic illness and health challenges, while maintaining their careers. This often combines anxiety management, deep rest and better sleep. I’m a HypnoTC Hypno-EMDR® practitioner, which I integrate into my practice for clients processing difficult experiences or trauma. Right now, I’m focusing a lot on fears and phobia, such as fear of flying, and quitting unhealthy habits like smoking and vaping.
My clients say I’m caring and supportive, creating a space where they feel safe and comfortable from the first session. They describe me as holistic and deeply attuned to their needs, adapting my approach to meet them where they are. They appreciate the practical resources I provide that they can use long-term, and value that I’m there every step of the way with genuine attention and care. After working with me, clients report feeling more in control, calmer, energised, and better equipped to handle life’s challenges.
